Insulating rubber gloves for live-line work

Ritz insulating gloves protect the electrician’s hand, wrist and forearm in contact with energized parts, without sacrificing the free finger movement the job requires. These are PPE for live-line work on distribution networks, made from special natural latex-based rubber, Type II (ozone-resistant), and classified by use voltage per IEC 60903:2014.

The differentiator that matters at inspection Class 0 is black. Classes 1 to 4 are bicolor: a black outer layer over a red inner layer. When the outer surface is cut, punctured or worn, the red shows through, making damage visible to the naked eye during the pre-use inspection. In live-line PPE, seeing the fault before you put the glove on is what separates a discard from an accident.

Description

Rubber Insulating Gloves

Insulating glove made of natural rubber, which makes the glove more flexible. Type II glove, ozone-resistant and halogenated, thus avoiding the use of talc in its use. The gloves are standard black and comply with NBR 10622 / NBR 16295 / ASTM D120 standards. The glove is designed to protect the electrician’s hand, wrist and forearm against electrical discharges, allowing free movement of the fingers.
