It is made from RITZGLAS® Ø 51 mm tube and has 6 stainless steel cross pins (5 working and 1 locking) at 152 mm intervals to support the adjustable glove or gag on the energized side.

The 5-pin arrangement allows the yokes to be moved over a maximum length of 608 mm.

The yokes on the energized side for hanging or anchoring insulator chains are coupled to the Tensioning Rods via their adjustable sleeves. The sleeves can be adjusted manually or with the aid of the Maneuvering Stick. The adjustable gag can be used directly on the Tensioning Pole for lifting the conductor, where the use of the yokes is not necessary.

On the de-energized side, a special 305 mm long steel bolt allows the assembly to be evenly tensioned using the ratchet and trunnion wrenches.

It also has tensioning screws in different lengths and the adjustable glove or gag can be purchased separately or as spare parts.

The trunnions and ratchet key can also be purchased separately.

This tool is essential for a wide variety of maintenance tasks on high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) transmission lines. The Adjustable Tensioning Rods can be used with an adjustable glove (RE401-0138) or an adjustable gag (RM4724-1).

COMPOSITION OF THE SET
Tensioning Rods with Adjustable Sleeve (RC401-2144 to RC401-2149 series) are supplied with the following components:
– 01 tension rod Ø 51 mm with fork head;
– 01 adjustable sleeve RE401-0138;
– 01 tension screw RE401-1998 (305 mm long);
