Double tensioner

The Double Tensioner (RC401-2174 to RC401-2179 series) relieves the mechanical tension of the insulator chain to allow it to be removed from the energized
line for replacement, either in a single insulator chain or in a multiple insulator chain, according to the fittings of the chain arrangement.
Tensioning rods are used with adjustable sleeves and yokes, with their respective trunnions and tensioning screws.

Through the adjustable sleeve, the suspension or anchoring yokes on the energized side are coupled to the Tensioning Rods. The sleeves can be adjusted manually or with the aid of the Maneuvering Stick.

The yoke on the energized side includes a steel hook.

The yokes are made of laminated aluminum sheets and include a chain with a hook to anchor them to the structure.

Tensioning screws, adjustable sleeves, trunnions or yokes can be purchased separately as spare parts.

COMPOSITION OF THE SET
The Double Tensioners of the series mentioned above are supplied with the following components:
– 02 RITZGLAS® Tensioning Rods Ø 51 mm, with fork heads and corresponding pins and cotter pins
– 01 Yoke RC401-1721 for anchoring to the structure (including its chain – RM1942)
– 01 Yoke RC401-1720 for installing on the energized side
– 02 Tensioning Screws RE401-1998 (305 mm)
– 02 Adjustable Gloves RE401-0138
