RITZ Tester
Portable device for periodic electrical tests on live line insulating poles, maneuvering poles and rods, live line ladders and insulating scaffolding that detects the leakage current caused by humidity, cracks and impurities on the surface or inside the insulating poles.
Handling is easy and simple, performed by a single operator through direct contact of the Ritz Tester with the surface to be tested, which indicates “PASS” or “FAIL” on the graph, according to the leakage current of the element under test.
This instrument simulates the same test specified in the ASTM F-711 standard.
The Ritz Tester test provides a guarantee that the equipment is ready for use. It cannot be used as a test for issuing reports.
Four versions are available:

They reproduce electrical tests corresponding to an applied voltage of 100 kV over 30 cm in accordance with the standard. To carry out the test, the rod must be supported in a horizontal position on two stands.
| LS-80/WD | LS-81/WD
They allow electrical tests on dry and wet poles via a control switch on the instrument’s front panel. The wet function reproduces an electrical test corresponding to a voltage of 75 kV at 30 cm. The dry function corresponds to a voltage of 100 kV at 30 cm.
