Contact Tester – CSU
An instrument used to check the presence of voltage in energized circuits. It is indicated by sound and light signals. This model of equipment signals the presence of voltage only when there is contact between the equipment’s electrode and the energized point to be tested.
Operating frequency: 60 Hz
Developed in accordance with the IEC61243-1 international standard, the instrument has a test system for operation and stand-by status.
As it has a head with a universal fitting at the end, this model of equipment can be used for other functions such as disarming fuse switches. Its pole is subjected to a tensile test with the same effort as the operating rod.
