Rubber Insulating Gloves and Sleeves

Cover for conductors, made of flexible insulating rubber in orange and complying with the requirements of ASTM D1050.

Used as a portable safety device designed to cover exposed energized power lines and protect electricians from accidental touches and shorts during maintenance on distribution networks.

This line of covers has ozone- and UV-resistant material (TYPE II), developed for various voltage classes, conductor diameters and lengths.

The construction of the cover takes advantage of rubber’s natural tendency to grip and squeeze through compression. The angled grooves at the ends make it easy to slide two covers together for installation, but do not allow them to separate during operation. To disengage, the operator simply needs to compress the rubber on each side.

Rubber Insulating Gloves

Insulating glove made of natural rubber, which makes the glove more flexible. Type II glove, ozone-resistant and halogenated, thus avoiding the use of talc in its use. The gloves are standard black and comply with NBR 10622 / NBR 16295 / ASTM D120 standards. The glove is designed to protect the electrician’s hand, wrist and forearm against electrical discharges, allowing free movement of the fingers.

Rubber Insulating Sleeves

Rubber insulating sleeves are specially produced as an electrical insulator for workers in the electrical sector to protect their arms and forearms.

The sleeves are made from high-quality elastomeric compound and comply with ASTM D1051/NBR 10623. They have straps and buttons and are sold in medium and large sizes.
