Stick with Multi-Angle Socket
The articulated gear mechanism of the insulating pole with multi-angle socket allows the electrician to adjust the appropriate angle for socket placement and nut position when working on
installations energized by the remote method.
The fiberglass rod installed parallel to the tube and affixed to the handle is responsible for stabilizing the gear head, keeping it aligned even as the stick rotates.
Complementing the gear is the 1/2″ square socket, responsible for connecting to the sockets that will operate the nuts.
The gear angle can be pre-adjusted to a variation of up to 140° in relation to the stick by means of the two butterfly nuts on the headstock.
The gear housing head is made of bronze alloy and the gears are made of special heat-treated steel. This versatile set of fittings is installed in the RITZGLAS® tube to guarantee the
safety distance and the necessary insulation.
WARNING
This rod is mechanically dimensioned for nut adjustment only, with a maximum torque of 2.0 daN.m (15 ft-lb).
It must be tightened to the appropriate torque using the rod with a flexible socket.
