Conductor Clamp Stick
It is used when working on energized installations using the remote method to hold and position cables and conductor jumpers (mainly during disconnection operations), as well as to tie and untie conductors to pin insulators.
The lever at the bottom of the stick is responsible for locking the driver in the jaw. The splined nut makes it possible to pre-adjust the opening of the upper head jaw according to the gauge of the driver. The two screws with knurled heads are used to lock the lever after it has been fixed to the driver.
The head of the conductor clamp can be pre-adjusted to three positions (left, center and right), allowing the electrician to maneuver the conductor at favorable working angles. Its opening allows the handling of 6 AWG solid copper cables (Ø 4 mm) and even 1590 MCM CAA aluminum cable (Ø 38 mm).
