The class should be selected according to the maximum use voltage: Class 0 up to 1 kV, Class 1 up to 7.5 kV, Class 2 up to 17 kV, Class 3 up to 26.5 kV, and Class 4 up to 36 kV, in accordance with IEC 60903:2014.

For Classes 1 through 4, the glove has a black outer layer and a red inner layer. If the outer surface is cut, punctured, or worn, the red layer becomes visible, helping to identify damage during inspection before use.
