Reusable Protective Cover

Reusable Protective Covers made from flexible plastic, suitable for protecting energized circuits up to 38 kV phase/phase, preventing phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground contact, which can be accidentally caused by animals, leading to possible shutdowns.

Quickly installed over the structures and secured with nylon clips, these covers are reusable and can be removed and reinstalled for inspections and cleaning of the protected points.

The construction of the cover takes advantage of rubber’s natural tendency to grip and squeeze through compression. The angled grooves at the ends make it easy to slide two covers together for installation, but do not allow them to separate during operation. To disengage, the operator simply needs to compress the rubber on each side.
