Spear pole with mast

The boom pole with mast is used for heavy-duty work on high-voltage structures, particularly for removing insulator strings with the aid of the cradle.

On the boom poles with mast (RC400-0469 and RH1973/H-10), two saddles (R070496) are included to attach the mast to the pole: one at the top and one at the bottom. These saddles come with their own chain tensioners with handwheels.

On the masted boom poles (RC400-0464, RC400-0465 and RH1973-814), which are intended for tower attachment, two models of fittings are used: a saddle (RC400-0602) mounted on the underside, which is attached to the tower with two sets of screws and claws for angle brackets, and a triple fork (FLV01644-1), already included, installed on the upper side, for coupling the rail poles.

When the mast is not required, use the adapter (FLV18133-1) for coupling the boom to the saddle (RC400-0602).

The coupling and formation of the mast stabilization tripod on the metal structure is done using three rail poles (RH4721-112) and
respective metal structure saddles (RM4742-3), both specified separately.

The rail poles have heads made of heat-treated aluminum alloy and forged steel swivel eyes.

Retaining the boom to the mast on all models is done using a tourniquet pole (RC400-0816) and a hoist (1500E), both specified separately.

The movable collar on the square boom (RC400-0464, RC400-0465 and RC400-0469) can be adjusted to three different positions to make it easier to operate the assembly at different angles to the insulator chain. The boom has an auxiliary head at its end with two shackles for holding or supporting additional loads, tools, etc.
