Rope
Rope
Polypropylene rope
Polypropylene rope was selected for its mechanical strength, reduced elongation and lightness.
This rope, like all others for working on energized installations, must always be kept clean and stored in a dry place sheltered from the sun.
Although polypropylene rope has good dielectric strength when new, it is not considered insulating for work on energized installations. Therefore, in the event of direct contact with live parts, it is necessary to use an insulating rope separator in series with the rope.
It comes in white, with polypropylene multifilament formation, twisted into three legs, and in a 220-metre roll.
Polydacron Rope
Twisted rope in three fiber legs combined with an excellent service life and a high strength-to-weight ratio. The rope is produced with high-strength polyester surface yarns wrapped in high-tenacity polyolefin fiber. It still offers the durability of polyester, but with greater strength than other ropes due to the combination with the polyolefin fiber.
Rope is not considered an insulator for work on energized installations.
Therefore, in the event of direct contact with energized parts, it is necessary to use an insulating rope separator in series with the rope.
Supplied in a roll of 183 meters.
Semi-static rope
Polyamide rope (core) and high-tenacity polyester rope (cover) in black and orange, with multifilament formation, twisted into three legs. It has good mechanical resistance, reduced elongation and lightness.
Rope is not considered an insulator for work on energized installations. Therefore, in the event of direct contact with energized parts, it is necessary to use an insulating rope separator in series with the rope.
Supplied in 100-meter rolls.
NR-18 Safety Rope
Rope woven in three legs of polyester multifilament and a central core of polyamide multifilament, lightweight and with good mechanical resistance.
For specific use with suspended chairs and safety guide cables for attaching fall arresters and installing lifelines.
This rope is not considered insulating for work on energized installations.
