Static Grounding
Static Grounding
Developed to eliminate the inconvenience of electrostatic charge when coupling and uncoupling chains of insulators when working on energized installations. It also dissipates the static charge through the copper cable (gauge 25 mm² x 2.0 m long) and clamp for connection to structural fittings or conductor cables.
To ground the chain of insulators on the de-energized side, the grounding clamp must be installed on the angle bracket of the structure and the rod jaws must be installed on the insulator fittings closest to the
structure.
When working at potential, the clamp must be fitted to the energized fittings and the pole jaws to the second insulator on the energized side.
Made of RITZGLAS® Ø 32 mm tube and 0.76 m in total length.
The bronze alloy clamps are designed for insulator fittings with Ø 64 to 152 mm.
The clamps for connecting to the structure have two installation versions (with a “T” bolt and with an eye bolt). Both clamps are made of bronze alloy and the clamp body is made of aluminum alloy.
